Sweet and salty is the best, so naturally chocolate caramel covered pretzels make the perfect treat! We decided to make these quick, easy, and delicious treats for my relatives at our last family party. All you need are some pretzel rods, chocolate chips, caramel squares, and sprinkles.
We used these tall mugs to melt the chocolate and caramel (at 30 second intervals) and they turned out to be perfect dipping containers.
We first dipped the pretzels in the caramel and let it dry for a few minutes. Afterwards, we dipped them in chocolate and added sprinkles! We also got creative and topped them with crushed almonds and coconut. Yum! The pictures below have Christmas Sprinkles, but feel free to add some red and pink hearts to make the perfect Valentine's day treat!
