DIY | POLKA DOT SWEATSHIRT

It's Christmas eve and I just got back from eating way too much (a.k.a. Black Angus Campfire Feast). Here's a super quick DIY that you could literally make right now and it would be ready just in time for present opening tomorrow morning. But I bet y'all haven't procrastinated that bad...

Supplies:

  • sweatshirt
  • foam pouncers (I used the 1 1/2" one from this pack)
  • chalk
  • cardstock for template
  • fabric paint (I used this)

Grab an old or new sweatshirt. This was an old one of mine that is way too small. I decided to DIY it for my little sister who is growing way too fast! I cut out a diamond (3"x4") as a template for marking my dots with a piece of chalk.
Pour some fabric paint onto a paper plate and stamp your dots. I was able to make two dots before dipping the sponge in paint again. I did some touch up with a small paint brush. If you want your dots to be darker you can wait for the paint to dry and then stamp them again, but I liked the look of it not being completely perfect so I only stamped them once. I let it dry over night and my sister wore it to school the next day!

I just love the simplicity of the black and white. My other sister flew home from school this past weekend and already insisted I stamp her one too!

xoxo, allison
