I've finally found the time to update and talk about my trip to New York. It's practically been 3 since my trip and I'm now back in hong kong. But a post is better than no post, right?
So my trip was mainly to visit my sister and hang out with my little niece. Together, with my cousin Nathan, we took over the city in a week and a half. (mainly with nathan though since my sister was taking care of the baby) But none the less, it was an amazing trip and it instilled some desire to want to move to there for a short period of time.
Most of the trip consisted of eating (what vacation isn't?), spending time with family, seeing 2 broadway shows, meeting up with friends from BU and high school, and seeing some sights). What I love most about the city is that everything you need is within a couple blocks. Whether it's the grocery store, a nice brunch place, pharmacy, you walk everywhere without having to take the time to drive. Most of the time the stroll is enjoyable because you're able to pass by other stores and window shop (hehe).
Below is a list of places that we went to that I would recommend to all of you out there who are wanting to know what's good to eat in NYC. May I add that we lived on the upper west side so most of the places listed are there. Also, I'm a HUGE brunch fanatic so don't be surprised at the number of brunch places that I list.

If you don't already know, MenuPages is a GREAT resource to see restaurant menus, pricing, ratings, and reviews. By going to this site, you can check out any restaurant before you go to see if it's what you really want to eat and search for other options! :)
I'll update again about some other things about my trip including pictures and other shenanigans in another post or two...so stay tuned! :)
